Terms of service

1. Acceptance of terms

Welcome to StatsLand. The terms may be updated from time to time without notice to you. You can access the terms of service at anytime at www.statsland.com/public/terms.php.

StatsLand provides a means of hosting hockey league information on the web. Any future features or enhancements added to StatsLand shall be subject to these same terms of service.

2. Member conduct

You understand that all content (text, links, etc.) is the sole responsibility of the person from which the content originated. In other words you, not StatsLand, is responsible for the content that you publish using the StatsLand service.
You acknowledge that StatsLand does not pre-screen Content, but that StatsLand shall have the right (but not the obligation) in their sole discretion to refuse or remove any content that is published via the service (i.e. any that violates these terms of service or content that is otherwise objectionable).
Links to other World Wide Web sites that are deemed objectionable fall under the same terms as the published content. Because StastLand has no control over content on other World Wide Web sites you agree to publish links only to sites that conform to these terms.
You agree to indemnify and hold StatsLand harmless from any claim or demand, made by any third party due to or arising from the content that you have published via the service.

3. Data Integrity

While every attempt will be made to retain and maintain accurate data, you agree that StatsLand has no responsibility or liability for the deletion, corruption or failure to store any information and/or statistics.

4. Republishing of material

When statistics generated from the StatsLand service are used in printed material, you agree to place a credit on each page that the statistics are shown. The credit must, as a mimimum, include the URL www.statsland.com.
You agree to provide credit to StatsLand when the statistics are republished for any other web-applications (i.e. hyperlink to the URL 'http://www.statsland.com'). The credit shall be located in a suitably readable font on the same page that the statistics reside.

5. Termination of Service

Your StatsLand service shall terminate one year after the date that you signed up for the service. Future features may be introduced to prolong that length of the service (you would be required to renew). This would enable you to renew your account for another year, thereby preventing you from having to reenter all of the administrative data again.
In the case that a service has been unused (no logins for either the administrative or the public account) for 3 months, the service will be placed in a suspended state (in which no logins to the public account will be allowed). The service will remain in a suspended state for 30 days after which it will be terminated and all data associated with the service will be lost. The service can be reactived within the 30 days by adminstrator logging back into the administrative account.
Unused accounts (services that haven't been accessed within 30 days of initial subscription or the initial subscription email bounced back to the server) will be deactivated upon the occurance of one of the aforementioned events.
